To be completed before launch: controller details (company name, address, tax ID) and a review by a lawyer. The text below is an honest draft based on what the site actually does — it is not legal advice.
Who the controller is
The controller of your personal data is [company name], [address], tax ID [number]. Contact: ping@roo2.dev.
What data I collect
Server logs. The hosting automatically records the IP address, date and time of the request, the page visited and browser information. This is how any web server works and a condition of running it safely.
Cookie consents. When you click a button in the banner, I record that consent was given or refused: the date, the chosen categories, the policy version and a hash of your IP address — not the address itself. The hash cannot be reversed and exists solely so I can demonstrate that consent was given. I also store a random consent identifier in your browser, so you can ask to see your own record.
Correspondence. If you write to the address above, I process the data in your message in order to reply.
What I do not collect: no profiling, no selling of data, no social plugins and no tracking ads.
Legal basis and purpose
| Data | Purpose | Basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Server logs | security and site operation | Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest |
| Consent record | demonstrating compliance | Art. 6(1)(c) — legal obligation |
| Correspondence | replying to your message | Art. 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest |
How long I keep it
Server logs — up to 12 months. Consent record — 3 years from the moment consent was given, being the period in which I may need to demonstrate it. Correspondence — until the matter is closed, then for the limitation period of any claims.
Cookies
The site is static and uses no tracking cookies. I store only your choice
from the consent banner, in the browser’s local storage (localStorage), not
in a cookie. It is not sent to any third party.
If analytics is added later, it will appear in the banner as a separate category, switched off by default, and will not run without your consent.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time — there is a link at the bottom of the page that reopens the banner. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Recipients
Data goes only to the hosting provider on whose servers the site runs — Hostinger International Ltd., acting as a processor. No data is transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
To exercise any of these rights, write to ping@roo2.dev. I reply within one month.
Changes
The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Each version has a number recorded together with your consent, so it is clear what exactly you agreed to.
